One important note is that besides the exclusive designated sponsorship CPM, we will also be circulating the regular CPM in the same market. So do not be mistaken that this special CPM will replace the normal publication. However in fairness of circulation to all parties, a special formula has been devised.
Circulation Formula
First we determined the total copies of CPM to be distributed in a certain period, say every six months. We then classify this total CPM quantity into "general" circulations and "special" circulations categories. CPM with multiple advertisers' falls within the general circulations category while Exclusive Designated Sponsor in the special category.
In fairness to general circulation category advertisers, and to help them maximize distribution, with a fair pricing, an advertising rate is calculated based on general circulation figures only. Therefore should that particular edition is without any exclusive designated sponsor, the general circulation advertisers will get a bonus circulations from the additional print through the extra allotment derived from the special circulations category. This may seems confusing for you so below is an illustration.

Total Distribution: 50,000 copies
Duration: 6 moths starting from July 1 2008 and ending on December 31 2008
General Circulation: 35,000 copies
Special Circulation: 15,000 copies. (Minimum 3000 copies and maximum 5 exclusive sponsors only)
In this case we will work out the best rates for those multiple advertisers taking part in a non-exclusive sponsored general circulation category. They will be guaranteed a minimum circulation of 35,000 copies over six months at various trade shows and other relevant channels.
Should the deadline pass and there is no exclusive designated sponsor for this edition, the 15,000 copies reserved for special circulation will be carried over as a bonus to the general category advertisers making up a total of 50,000 copies for them. However if at last moment there is an exclusive designated sponsor signing up for example 5000 copies; then only 10,000 copies will be the bonus Passover for the general category.
